Consultation to Inform Funding for Alcohol and Other drug treatment services to support CDC trial participants

This report outlines the findings to inform the grant funding decision-making process for the delivery of alcohol and other drug treatment services for 4 Cashless Debit Card (CDC) trial sites: Ceduna (SA), Bundaberg-Hervey Bay (QLD), East Kimberley and the Goldfields (WA).

This report contains 3 parts:

  • Part 1: Gives an overview of the consultation undertaken, community alcohol and other drug (AOD) needs, current provisions of AOD treatment service and gaps.
  • Part 2: Addressing AOD service gaps, guidance for development of a grant programme and recommendations
  • Part 3: Provides treatment recommendations across the four Cashless Debit Card trial sites.
