How to apply for the Remote Area Aboriginal Health Services Program

This can help ensure your patients get the treatment they need without worrying about cost or going to a pharmacy. The program can also help you to maintain a stock of essential medicines.

Remote Area Aboriginal Health Services Program application form

Aboriginal health services in remote areas can use this form to apply to take part in the Remote Area Aboriginal Health Services Program. Under this program, approved health services can provide free Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines to their patients.

Application process

Once you have completed and submitted the application form, we will:

  1. assess your application
  2. email you the outcome within 10 business days of receiving your application.

If approved, we will let Services Australia know so they can give you a registration number.
