Find your nearest breast screening service

You can book in to have a mammogram, no matter where you live in Australia. Services are provided in each state and territory.

Screening units operate at more than 750 locations. BreastScreen Australia uses clinics, special buses and 4-wheel-drives to bring screening to as many women as possible.

Contact BreastScreen Australia in your state or territory to book your free breast exam. You’ll automatically be directed to your nearest service.

If you haven’t received a letter

Women aged 50 to 74 are sent an invitation to participate in the program. If you haven't received your invitation, contact BreastScreen Australia on 13 20 50 to check if your details are correct.

BreastScreen NT is part of the national breast cancer screening program. Contact them by phone or email to make an appointment. Remote screening is available through the BreastScreenNT four-wheel drive bus.

BreastScreen SA is part of the national breast cancer screening program. Contact them by phone between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday to make an appointment or book online.

BreastScreen Tasmania

BreastScreen Tasmania is part of the national breast cancer screening program. Contact them by phone or online to make an appointment. They have clinics in Hobart and Launceston with rural and remote areas being served by a mobile unit.
