4 April 2025 - We are reforming in-home aged care. The new Support at Home program will replace the Home Care Packages Program and Short-Term Restorative Care Programme from 1 July 2025. The Commonwealth Home Support Programme will transition to the new program no earlier than 1 July 2027.

20 February 2025 - The new Support at Home program will better support older people to remain independent at home. It will bring together current in-home aged care programs, have new classifications, equitable pricing, an increased focus on early interventions, and higher levels of care for people with complex needs.

27 November 2024 - As a CHSP service provider, you must meet certain responsibilities when managing services. These include following care plans, regularly reviewing clients, updating information in My Aged Care, submitting reports to us, and having emergency plans in place.

12 December 2024 - The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides free emergency aeromedical evacuations and healthcare services for people living in rural and remote communities. This is often where no other health services are available. We have funded the RFDS since the 1930s.
