23 March 2026 - The CHSP has been extended from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027.

11 May 2026 - You must enter into a residential aged care service agreement with a resident before you can provide services. You must include certain details, provide a copy to the resident, and make sure they understand and agree to it before or on the day they move into your aged care home.

27 February 2026 - The CHSP provides entry-level aged care services to help older people continue living independently and safely at home and in their community. CHSP providers help with services including personal care, transport, and preparing meals.
