20 May 2025 - The Australian Government provides COVID-19 vaccines to all people in Australia for free under the National COVID-19 Vaccine Program to reduce the impacts of the COVID-19 disease on individuals and their communities.

20 May 2025 - Electronic prescribing is now widely available in the community setting. It provides an option for healthcare providers and consumers to use an electronic prescription as an alternative to paper prescriptions. Paper prescriptions are still available.

4 June 2025 - You can offer certain types of services under the Home Care Packages Program, based on a care recipient’s assessment and ongoing care discussion. Services might include personal and clinical care, help with household chores, help with preparing meals, and mobility support.
