24 September 2026 - As the new statutory decision maker for NDIS price limits, the Minister for Disability and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Mark Butler MP, has made the first NDIS pricing determination.

3 August 2026 - Dementia Support Australia helps health care professionals and family members supporting a person living with dementia. They provide a 24-hour helpline, specialised clinical support and advice for carers of people living with dementia when they experience changes in behaviour.

24 June 2026 - Providers set their own prices for Support at Home services. They must set prices that are reasonable, transparent and clearly explained. These resources provide guidance on setting prices and outline consumer protections.

2 October 2026 - The NDIS Evidence Advisory Committee (EAC) will advise government on which supports are suitable for NDIS funding. Government announced the committee in the 2024–25 Budget as part of the response to the NDIS Review.

10 September 2026 - The DHSCC is a forum for people with disability, their carers, health and disability sector representatives and professionals, academic experts, and Commonwealth, state and territory governments to discuss policy matters relating to health and disability supports.

15 September 2026 - We are accountable for payments made under Medicare programs. We support health practitioners to comply with Medicare requirements, with a focus on prevention and education. We review and audit health practitioners’ claims to make sure they are legitimate.
