4 August 2025 - This weekly report provides a snapshot of data on the impact of COVID-19 in residential aged care facilities nationally. The report includes data on the number of services impacted and number of staff and resident cases, as well as workforce, vaccine rollout, testing and PPE provided to services.

28 April 2023 - The Minister for Health and Aged Care established the Strengthening Medicare Taskforce to provide recommendations on the highest priority improvements to primary care.

14 August 2025 - Fees for optional services are changing on 1 November. The new higher everyday living fee (HELF) will replace additional service fees and extra service fees.
