1 February 2024 - Tobacco is made from the leaves of tobacco plants. It contains nicotine, which is an addictive drug. When you smoke tobacco in cigarettes or other tobacco products (such as cigars cigarillos, pipes, or shisha) you absorb toxic and cancer-causing chemicals that affect your health.

22 July 2024 - NACCHO are hosting two CPD accredited webinars for healthcare workers on the cervical screening self-collection option. The webinars will focus on how to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women and people with a cervix in their cervical screening.
