31 October 2025 - Older people receiving Support at Home or residential care can apply for financial hardship assistance. If approved, we will pay a supplement for some or all of their aged care contributions, fees and charges. This supplement is paid to a provider on the person’s behalf.

17 November 2025 - We are helping food companies reduce the serving sizes of foods and beverages sold in retail and out of home settings. The guide focuses on foods typically high in saturated fat, sodium and sugar. More appropriate serving sizes will help Australians to make healthier and more balanced food choices.
