27 October 2025 - Provider-based subsidies in residential care are meant to support providers to deliver flexible and sustainable services.

22 October 2025 - Residents are entitled to take leave from permanent residential aged care. Residents have unlimited hospital leave, can take transition care leave and can also take leave for social reasons.

17 October 2025 - From April 2026, this supplement will only apply to non-specialised metropolitan aged care homes if they meet a minimum level of care minutes performance.
