22 May 2020 - This fact sheet provides information and guidance for disability support providers and workers who provide health care to people with intellectual or developmental disability during the COVID-19 pandemic.

10 November 2021 - A statement from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) on mandating vaccination for disability support workers.

14 October 2024 - People with disability and their families, carers and support workers can contact the Disability Gateway for information and support services. You can also be referred to other support services if needed, including counselling and advocacy.

23 May 2024 - The Australian Government funds approved providers to help with the cost of meeting specific care needs. As an approved provider, you might also ask people in government-funded aged care to pay some fees and costs.

3 December 2024 - In some cases, you may deliver Home Care Package services to care recipients who access services and support from other aged care programs, such as the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, residential respite care, and programs run by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
