10 September 2024 - The Co-design Working Group (CWG) formed in November 2023 to support the co-design of an Enhanced Consumer Engagement Process for Health Technology Assessment (HTA). The group worked to improve how we include the views of consumers and patients earlier in the medicines listing process.

23 March 2026 - Objective 3 of the National Health Reform Agreement (NHRA) focuses on simpler and fairer ways to share health funding, improving health outcomes for First Nations Australians, and reviewing funding for small states and rural and remote communities.

5 August 2025 - The National Obesity Strategy is a 10-year framework for action to prevent, reduce, and treat, overweight and obesity in Australia. It focuses on prevention, but also includes actions to better support Australians who are living with overweight or obesity, to live their healthiest lives.

22 January 2026 - We develop policies and programs to support the development and adoption of health technologies and digital health capabilities. We also support research to ensure data and technology work safely for patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals.

19 January 2024 - A list of our initiatives, programs, campaigns, reforms or reviews related to dentists and dental practitioners.

22 March 2026 - Learn about how your aged care organisation can access and use the Government Provider Management System (GPMS).

12 February 2026 - The Practice Stream provides financial incentives to help general practices with the cost of engaging nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and practitioners.
