1 April 2026 - An accommodation agreement sets out a person’s residential aged care accommodation costs. You must include certain details, provide a copy to the person, and make sure they understand and agree to it. Review the agreement as needed, and update it if you both agree to the changes.

31 October 2025 - The Australian Government allocates funding on behalf of eligible participants to registered Support at Home providers. This section outlines funding classifications, supplements and care management funding.

23 October 2024 - Medicare subsidises a large number of health services and products. You can use your Medicare card to access medical services, hospital services for public patients, surgical services, prescription medicines, eye tests, pathology tests, imaging and scans.

9 October 2025 - Providers can ask people in government-subsidised residential respite care to pay some fees. These fees are different from what you can charge for permanent (ongoing) residential care.
