31 October 2025 - The CHSP provides grant funding to registered service providers to deliver entry-level services to help eligible older people remain living at home. From 1 November 2025, the CHSP comes under the Aged Care Act 2024 (the Act). Find out what services you can provide under the CHSP.

3 November 2025 - New guidance is available for in-home aged care providers to help set their own prices for the first year of the new Support at Home program.

5 November 2025 - We are reforming in-home aged care. The new Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages Program and Short-Term Restorative Care Programme on 1 November 2025. The Commonwealth Home Support Program will transition to the new program no earlier than 1 July 2027.

14 August 2025 - Help and support for disability.

4 August 2025 - This is a collection of documents for a closed non-competitive grant opportunity (GO655) with existing Disability Support for Older Australians (DSOA) service coordinators. It is for the delivery of DSOA services from January 2024 to November 2026.

13 September 2024 - The DSOA Program supports older people with disabilities who cannot be supported by the in-home aged care system and were not eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) when it was rolled out in their region. The program does not accept new clients.

30 July 2025 - The helpline provides short term and phone-based disability advocacy support, no matter where you live in Australia. They may refer you to other supports in your local area based on your individual needs.
