We have received several queries from stakeholders about interpretation of the new condition placed on Prescribed List billing codes for the surgical guides and biomodels.
The department is preparing an amendment to the MDHTP Rules to clarify the intent of the condition and delaying commencement of the condition to 1 February 2024.
A further PHI circular will be published when the amendment rules are made and registered.
In the meantime, we encourage all stakeholders to work towards the 1 February 2024 commencement date.
