The purpose of the Post-listing Review Framework is:

  • to improve post listing processes
  • to carry out utilisation reviews and post-market reviews incorporating Health Technology Assessment (HTA)
  • to support other post-listing activities.

The Department is currently undertaking pilot reviews on certain groups of devices. Further information on the framework, types of reviews, different activities and processes are outlined on the Prostheses List Reforms webpage on the Department of Health and Aged Care website.

We will update the webpage regularly to notify stakeholders on different stages as we progress the reviews.
