PHI 36/23 Revised benefit reductions for Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices

Following publication of the benefit reductions to Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs) on 10 May 2023, it was brought to our attention that there was an error in the calculation of the PL benefit groups for CIEDs with suffix Remote Monitoring Services.

We have revised the benefit reductions for the relevant billing codes for CIEDs with this suffix. As a result, 35 billing codes have had their 1 July 2023 benefits adjusted.

The published lists have been updated to reflect the adjusted benefits.
