$9.76 million to support the local development of lifesaving new drugs

We are investing $9.76 million in the development of lifesaving drugs and world-class treatments in Australia. Funding is from the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).

The MRFF will support MedChem Australia to:

  • accelerate promising early-stage drug discovery projects towards clinical trials
  • create new medicines for a broad range of diseases.

Funding is from the 2023 National Critical Research Infrastructure grant opportunity, under the MRFF’s National Critical Research Infrastructure initiative.
