The Australian Government is investing $9.2 million in 12 new health and medical research projects. Transforming their ideas into life-saving medicines, devices and treatments for the patients of the future.

5.2 million to develop new approaches that tackle diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and $4 million to develop new medical technologies to treat a range of conditions.

$5.2 million is available from the MRFF’s Preventive and Public Health Research initiative.

$4 million is available from the MRFF’s Medical Research Commercialisation initiative.
