Advance Care Planning Australia

Advance Care Planning Australia is a national program that promotes advance care planning, including resources and national curriculum and learning.


CarerHelp provides free information, resources and advice, including managing grief and loss, to help when caring for a loved one.

End of Life Direction for Aged Care (ELDAC)

ELDAC provides information, guidance, and resources to health professionals and aged care workers on palliative care and advance care planning to improve the care of older Australians.

Gwandalan National Palliative Care Project

This project aims to improve access and the quality of palliative care service delivery for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people throughout Australia, by providing a suite of tailored education and training materials to support cultural safety within palliative care services.

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia works with the palliative care sector to provide appropriate services and increase knowledge and awareness of palliative care within LGBTIQ+ communities.

palliAGED – palliative care aged care evidence

palliAGED is the palliative care evidence and practice information resource for the Australian aged care sector. It provides support for health and care practitioners as well as resource developers. The website also provides trustworthy information for older Australians, their families and friends.

Palliative Aged Care Outcomes Program (PACOP)

The Palliative Aged Care Outcomes Program, or PACOP, is dedicated to improving the outcomes of all Australians in aged care homes with a particular focus on those who are approaching the end of their life.

Palliative Care Australia

Palliative Care Australia provides national leadership to contribute to the development of palliative care public policy in Australia and promotes increased awareness of palliative care.

Palliative care curriculum for undergraduates (PCC4U)

The PCC4U program promotes the inclusion of palliative care education as part of all medical, nursing, and allied health undergraduate and entry to practice training, as well as their ongoing professional development.

Palliative care in Australian prisons

This project will design a new National Framework for palliative care in Australian prisons, including development of national policies, a clinical service model of care and a toolkit of resources.

Palliative Care Echo is a series of interactive case based virtual mentoring sessions that address a range of palliative care topics.

Palliative Care Service Navigation Pilot

The Palliative Care Service Navigation Pilot will trial a patient navigator model to strengthen access to palliative and end of life care pathways in South Australia.

Program of Experience in the Palliative Approach (PEPA)

The PEPA program is part of the Palliative Care Education and Training Collaborative and helps health professionals to deliver palliative care by providing training in clinical placements in specialist palliative care services and interactive workshops.

Quality of Care Collaborative – Australia (QuoCCA)

QuoCCA helps local health professionals provide palliative care to children and their families and carers by improving access to training and raising community awareness of palliative care for paediatric patients.
