About the webinar
We are collaborating with Dementia Training Australia to host an 8-part series designed to help aged care providers and designers understand and apply the National Aged Care Design Principles and Guidelines.
This session explores Principle 2 Cultivate a Home. Principle 2 aims to create familiar, home-like spaces in which people have privacy, control and feel they belong. It will also support aged care providers to create safe workplaces for staff.
In this fourth webinar in the series, you will learn about:
- creating a familiar environment supporting privacy, control and belonging
- guidelines on household size, kitchens and furniture
- setting up an active and functional kitchen.
