Webinar content
Senior Australians and carers who access home care services, home care service providers, and people who work in home care are encouraged to participate in the webinar.
The webinar will outline how the Australian Government’s $7.5 billion reforms package will support more senior Australians to receive care at home, increase support for informal and family carers and make sure senior Australians are able to find the aged care services in their community they need.
The webinar will also outline plans for establishing a single support at home program to replace the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, and Residential Respite.
The presenters will cover the response to the Aged Care Royal Commission to increase quality and safety for at home care and to make sure that home care services offer value for money, are affordable and that pricing is transparent.
During the webinar you will have the opportunity to say what you think is important when implementing changes in home care settings and how we can best work with home care providers and carers to make these changes.
