We know when each of us is healthy, our mob is healthy. And when your spirit is strong, your mob is strong.

For many of us, this year has been hard.

Some of us might have already been dealing with a lot, like sickness or trauma.

The COVID-19 pandemic, bushfires, droughts, floods, money worries may have added to it.

The way we do things has changed.

Some of us couldn’t celebrate with community or might have dealt with Sorry Business on our own.

For many, it has been hard to connect with community, country and culture in the ways we might be used to.

It has been hard to keep out spirit strong.

It’s OK not to feel good sometimes.

But if you don’t feel good a lot, there are things you can do to feel better.

Keep in touch with family and community. Even if it’s by phone or video calls.

Our country helps us heal, so connect with country wherever you might be.

Visit places like sea or bush that give you strength. Exercise …and eat well… connect to culture by engaging with materials produced our Mob, for our Mob.

Explore your creative side…enjoy music and art.

And sometimes having a yarn with someone when things get a bit too much can really help.

There is support out there, so reach out when you need to.

Contact your local health worker and visit headtohealth.gov.au.

Keep your spirit strong.
