What treatments are there for COVID-19? There are oral treatments for COVID.There's tablets and there's capsules. The two treatments are called Lagevrio and Paxlovid. These two treatments or medications are really effective for people with mild to moderate COVID symptoms, but they can't be taken by everyone and you must have them prescribed by your GP.

How can I get COVID-19 treatments? The best way is to book an appointment with your GP and see if these treatments are right for you and also that they are safe for you. It's a really good idea to talk to your GP about these treatments before you get COVID. This will help both you and your doctor to prepare for if you get COVID and if you need these medications. There are some important reasons why you may not be able to take these medications. One of them is that there are other medications that should not be taken at the same time as these medications and that just really, really underlines the point that you really need to talk to your doctor about this prior to becoming unwell.
