This update provides a summary of changes to the Aged Care Gateway from 9 December 2024.

The Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy 2024–2029 outlines the Australian Government’s approach to encouraging innovation and harnessing the power of data and digital to improve care and wellbeing for older people.

This Action Plan underpins the Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy, outlining how we will deliver strategy outcomes. Actions are presented under each priority and outcome, which will collectively achieve the strategy’s vision.

The consultation summary includes key themes from feedback on the draft Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy. The Department of Health and Aged Care undertook extensive consultation on the draft Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy from October 2022 to November 2023.

This flyer gives aged care providers information about free training and resources to help them care for older people with diverse backgrounds and life experience in a way that is respectful, safe and culturally appropriate.

The evaluation considered the successes and challenges of PICAC from 2011 to 2018. It looked at what’s working, what’s not working and why.
