In accordance with section 86-11(5) of the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth) (the Act), the Secretary of the department is not liable to civil proceedings for loss, damage or injury of any kind suffered by the approved provider of a residential care service, or another person, as a result of the publication of information which includes information published about:
- the quality of residential care provided through residential aged care services; and
- the performance of approved providers of such services in relation to responsibilities and standards under the Act.
