Secondary school students’ use of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs in 2014

This report presents the results of the 2014 ASSAD survey. Over 20,000 students aged 12 to 17 years participated in the survey.
The report includes statistics on:
- tobacco, alcohol, electronic cigarettes, over-the-counter drugs and illicit drugs use
- use of health services
- use by age and sex
- cigarette brands smoked
- types of substances used compared to 2011
The first ASSAD survey was in 1984. Surveys are conducted every 3 years.
