Description:
The 2017 review of national aged care regulatory processes was in response to the failures at the Oakden Older Persons Mental Health Service in South Australia.
The review report includes 10 recommended actions to improve processes and is divided into 2 parts:
- Part 1 describes the current regulatory system in Australia
- Part 2 looks at how we can improve quality regulatory processes
Kate Carnell and Professor Ron Paterson conducted the review.
