The National Standard Operating Procedures will help anyone working on clinical trials and teletrials. They provide a clear and consistent approach. The procedures will be reviewed every two years.
The Teletrials Compendium supports a consistent national approach to teletrials. Two publications form the compendium:
- the National Principles for Teletrials in Australia
- this publication - The National Standard Operating Procedures for Clinical Trials, including Teletrials.
Compliance with the two compendium publications assures the public that:
- clinical trials protect the rights, safety and wellbeing of those who take part
- the data generated from the clinical trials are credible.
