National Report on the 2025 GP National Registrar Survey

This report gives the national results of the 2025 GP National Registrar Survey. In 2025, the research questions focussed on vertical and horizontal integration and the Single Employer Model trials.

The GP National Registrar Survey (GP NRS) is an annual, national survey of GP and RG registrars training in Commonwealth-funded programs. It collects information about registrar satisfaction, experience and future career plans. The 2025 GP NRS also explored vertical and horizontal integration and the Single Employer Model trials.

Results from the 2025 survey showed high registrar satisfaction with training providers (92.4%) and training facilities (92.2%). This is the highest level of satisfaction since 2018.
