National Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 Plan

We have developed a new national plan for post-acute sequelae of COVID-19, commonly known as long COVID.

This national plan provides a framework for the health system to respond to PASC in Australia, within the context of existing health reforms.

The plan outlines 3 main strategic priorities:

  1. Improve primary care-based models of care for PASC
  2. Increase community and health sector awareness of PASC
  3. Increase support for PASC research.
