In response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety’s recommendations, the Australian Government is urgently reviewing the Aged Care Quality Standards. In May 2021, as a first step to the urgent review, KPMG was engaged to conduct an independent evaluation of the Quality Standards. This report provides findings from this independent evaluation.
