Description:
The Government will invest $1.25 billion in local services, infrastructure projects and programs under the landmark Community Health and Hospitals Program (CHHP). The CHHP will tackle pressing health issues by addressing local service gaps and funding new and existing facilities.
The CHHP will better equip the health and hospitals system to meet on-the-ground needs and close identified gaps in service delivery, improving access to hospital and community health services. This supports the Government’s commitment to ensuring access to health care, when and where people need it.
