The Government will help ensure senior Australians in residential aged care facilities are receiving high quality clinical care by requiring regular public reporting by providers across the nation. The Government will mandate the collection and online publication by providers of a defined set of aged care clinical quality indicators. Indicators will initially cover areas such as pressure sores, physical restraint and weight loss, as well as falls and fractures, and medication management.
