The Government is investing $23.6 million to expand the role that Australian sport plays in promoting social inclusion and improving health outcomes. Grants will be allocated to National Sporting Organisations, local community organisations and community groups for diversity and inclusion programs delivered through sport and physical activities.

This is part of a cross government social cohesion package of initiatives to create a stronger, more cohesive Australia and to help migrants become established and integrated into the Australian community, particularly in regional Australia.
