Addendum to the Eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement (8CPA)

The Addendum to the 8CPA makes amendments to the 8CPA to adjust the wholesale mark-up for medicines dispensed by pharmacists from 1 July 2026 and adjusts the remuneration paid to pharmacists to offset the effects of this change.

On 12 June 2026, the Minister for Health and Ageing and the Pharmacy Guild of Australia agreed to make changes to the Eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement (8CPA).

The Addendum to the 8CPA makes changes to the 8CPA to::

  1. change the wholesale mark-up for medicines dispensed by pharmacists from 1 July 2026, and
  2. adjust the remuneration paid to pharmacists to offset the effects of this change.
