ACFA found that:
- people are not planning enough for their aged care
 - current retirement tools do not include aged care costs
 - people are not aware of the range of aged care services available and their costs

To better support people making financial decisions about their aged care, ACFA recommended changes to:
- include aged care in retirement planning information
 - increase understanding of the cost of aged care and the choices people can make
 - ensure advisors know how to help people with planning their aged care
