Cervical screening – Own It stakeholder communication toolkit

Use the content and resources in these communication toolkits to raise awareness on the benefits of cervical screening and encourage women and people with a cervix to do their Cervical Screening Test when due.

Collection description

The 2024–25 national Own It cervical screening campaign is now live. Own It is an Australian Government–funded national campaign to raise awareness of the self-collect option when doing your Cervical Screening test. 

To complement the campaign, we have created an Own It stakeholder toolkit and 9 dedicated community toolkits for Australia’s most under-screened groups.

We encourage you to share the content in these toolkits through your own platforms and channels. You can help spread the word about the importance of cervical screening and promote the option to self-swab. You can tailor content to suit your target audience as required.

Inside each toolkit you will find:

  • social media and posters you can add your own spin to
  • resources on cervical screening.
