About the Vaccine Operations Centre (VOC)
The VOC manages and coordinates the safe and efficient delivery of COVID-19 vaccines across Australia. It is the primary contact point for logistical, system, ordering and administration enquiries by COVID-19 vaccine administrators.
The VOC works with vaccine administrators to ensure program delivery. COVID-19 vaccine administrators include:
- state and territory authorities
- primary care vaccination providers
- aged care and disability facility vaccination providers
- other government agencies supporting the COVID-19 response.
VOC service offer
Onboarding sites
The VOC can help onboard sites into the COVID-19 program. This includes assisting with site registration issues to ensure a smooth and successful transition into the program.
All participating sites can contact the VOC for help with navigating the registration process end to end, including:
- registration codes
- site set up (primary contact and delivery)
- completing the appropriate declarations
- placing the first order.
COVID-19 Vaccine Administrative System (CVAS) support
All participating sites can contact the VOC for help with CVAS and with troubleshooting CVAS issues.
CVAS reporting requirements
The VOC can help with:
- completing Wastage Reports, Stock Management and Delivery Acceptances
- stock transfers to and from other primary care sites
- amending form information such as incorrect vaccine numbers
- backdating Stock Management and Waste Management forms if they are not completed in CVAS by midnight each Friday.
CVAS ordering processes
The VOC can help with:
- ordering vaccines
- additional orders
- ordering windows
- paired or additional vaccine consumables
- Requested Delivery Dates (RDD)
- Vaccine Access Requests (VAR)
- troubleshooting or escalating any issues sites are experiencing.
