Funding extension for the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)

We will extend existing CHSP service providers from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027. This will help you plan for your future resource, service delivery and staffing needs. Find out what you need to do, who is eligible, and how we will keep you informed.

CHSP extension 2024–25

Following the May 2023–24 Budget announcement, the CHSP has been extended from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

CHSP extension 2025–27

Following an announcement by Minister Wells on 28 November 2023, the CHSP has been further extended until 30 June 2027.
