    • Strengthened Quality Standards – August 2025

      This document provides the final strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. This reflects the final draft of the new Aged Care Rules released on 31 July 2025. This document contains minor changes from February 2025 following the public consultation on the Aged Care Rules and the legislative drafting process.

    • Support at Home service agreement resources

      These resources are to help in-home aged care providers understand and meet their Support at Home service agreement responsibilities.

      The resource pack includes a guidance document, checklist, service agreement template and key messaging to help guide conversations with older people.

      Providers are encouraged to begin these conversations now to ensure service agreements are in place ahead of the Support at Home program starting.

      From 1 November 2025, under the Aged Care Act 2024 (the new Act), registered providers will have to meet certain conditions of registration, obligations and statutory duties when delivering funded aged care services.

      Production release of the Registered Nurses 3.0, Authentication 2.0, Provider Management 2.0 and Quality Indicators APIs

      Beta versions of the Registered Nurses 3.0, Authentication 2.0, Provider Management 2.0 and Quality Indicators 2.0 APIs move into production on 1 November 2025 to ensure compliance with the new Aged Care Act.
