27 October 2025 - Older people receiving care in home or community settings may need to make contributions towards the cost of their care. This takes into account how much they can afford to pay, based on their means test.

31 October 2025 - Registered providers of residential aged care, Support at Home and multi-purpose services are required to complete an annual Aged Care Financial Report (ACFR). Providers must report on mandatory requirements to receive Australian Government operational approval and funding.
