9 October 2025 - Every resident pays a basic daily fee to contribute to the costs of their daily living. Different rates apply depending on which fee arrangements they are on.

8 September 2025 - Under this program, Aboriginal health services (AHSs) in remote areas can order Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines from approved suppliers. The AHSs can then provide these medicines to their patients for free. To get reimbursed, the suppliers submit a payment claim to Services Australia.

6 February 2026 - The Australian Government is investing $40 million over 4 years to set up a National Clinical Quality Registry Program.

21 January 2026 - From 1 November 2025, daily accommodation payments (DAPs) are indexed. Providers will index the payment they charge twice a year. This only applies to residents on the 1 November 2025 accommodation arrangements.
