31 October 2025 - Older people receiving Support at Home or residential care can apply for financial hardship assistance. If approved, we will pay a supplement for some or all of their aged care contributions, fees and charges. This supplement is paid to a provider on the person’s behalf.

19 December 2025 - Residents pay fees based on their means assessment. Services Australia advises the fee type and amount for each resident. Daily, annual and lifetime caps limit the amount a person pays.
