8 July 2025 - The John Flynn Prevocational Doctor Program (JFPDP) delivers primary care rotations for prevocational junior doctors. These rotations provide exposure to rural primary care to encourage junior doctors to choose a career in general practice.

20 May 2025 - Electronic prescribing is now widely available in the community setting. It provides an option for healthcare providers and consumers to use an electronic prescription as an alternative to paper prescriptions. Paper prescriptions are still available.
