21 May 2025 - There are now 2 ways to save on prescription medicines. On 1 January 2025, we introduced a freeze on the maximum patient cost of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines. Combined with 60-day prescriptions, these changes can help you save money and time.

4 June 2025 - Care recipients are expected to pay fees to help with the cost of their government-subsidised home care. We changed the way we calculate fees on 1 July 2014. These changes do not apply to care recipients who entered the program before that date.
