1 October 2025 - The Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) funding model includes specialised Base Care Tariff (BCT) categories for aged care homes that specialise in providing care to certain groups. Learn about the eligibility criteria and application process.

30 October 2025 - This supplement helps registered providers with the cost of caring for veterans with a service-related mental health condition. You do not need to apply for this supplement. If eligible, payment will start when a person has agreed to release eligibility information.

20 October 2025 - Residents in permanent care may have to make an accommodation payment or contribution. Aged care providers must work out the correct amount of payment or contribution to charge based on the agreed room price, Services Australia advice and the payment method a resident chooses.

10 June 2025 - This webinar gave in-home aged care providers an update on the Single Assessment System, the Support at Home program’s Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (AT-HM) Scheme, and the actions providers need to take to be ready for the Support at Home program ahead of 1 July 2025.

22 October 2025 - Registered providers of approved residential care homes receive the hotelling supplement to help meet the cost of providing everyday living services. This includes services such as catering, cleaning and laundry.

31 October 2025 - Registered providers of residential aged care, Support at Home and multi-purpose services are required to complete an annual Aged Care Financial Report (ACFR). Providers must report on mandatory requirements to receive Australian Government operational approval and funding.

10 June 2025 - This webinar informed providers about how funding will be delivered for the Fair Work Commission award wage increase for nurses in aged care. It explained what you need to know and do to implement the award wage increase.

9 October 2025 - Residents pay fees based on their means assessment. Services Australia advises the fee type and amount for each resident. Daily, annual and lifetime caps limit the amount a person pays. New types of means tested fees will be introduced on 1 November 2025.
