9 November 2025 - This webinar will introduce the Aged Care Provider Requirements Search tool. The tool has been designed to help providers understand the rules, obligations and other requirements which will apply to them under the new Aged Care Act, which starts on 1 November 2025.

31 October 2025 - Various organisations work together to manage and monitor the Support at Home program. They ensure registered providers meet their legal responsibilities and deliver safe, person-centred services.

25 November 2024 - The handbook is a new resource designed to help healthcare professionals, medical practice staff or anyone involved in Medicare billing and claiming, to navigate the Medicare system.

26 September 2024 - Changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule items for chronic disease management have been deferred from 1 November 2024 until 1 July 2025. The additional time will support all practices and providers, including GPs and allied health providers, to be ready for the changes to these important services.

31 October 2025 - Older people receiving Support at Home or residential care can apply for financial hardship assistance. If approved, we will pay a supplement for some or all of their aged care contributions, fees and charges. This supplement is paid to a provider on the person’s behalf.

30 October 2025 - A list of resources relating to the Multi-Purpose Service Program

13 December 2021 - The Stronger Rural Health Strategy is a 10-year strategy from 2018–19 to improve the health of people in Australia through the supply of a quality health workforce that is distributed across the country according to community need. It will deliver 3,000 extra doctors and 3,000 extra nurses by 2028.
