29 October 2024 - Not everyone benefits from a hearing device. But if you need one, your provider will help you find one that meets your needs and goals. The Hearing Services Program fully subsidises some hearing devices so there is no cost to you, and partially subsidises others, with you paying the gap.

4 June 2025 - In some cases, you may deliver Home Care Package services to care recipients who access services and support from other aged care programs, such as the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, residential respite care, and programs run by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

4 June 2025 - You must enter into a resident agreement with a person before you can start providing services to them. You must include certain details, provide a copy to the person, and make sure they understand and agree to it. Review the agreement as needed, and update it if you both agree to the changes.

5 November 2024 - This program supports flexible ways of providing care where mainstream services cannot meet needs. It currently funds 7 innovative projects that focus on younger people with disabilities. The program stopped funding new projects in 2006.
