10 October 2024 - The CHSP provides entry-level support for older people who need some help to stay at home. Service providers work with them to maintain their independence. Support can include help with daily tasks, home modifications, transport, social support and nursing care.

3 June 2025 - The Australian Health Protection Committee (AHPC) is concerned about the recent increase in measles cases reported in Australia, with outbreaks identified in several states and territories.

20 May 2025 - Electronic prescribing is now widely available in the community setting. It provides an option for healthcare providers and consumers to use an electronic prescription as an alternative to paper prescriptions. Paper prescriptions are still available.
