We have been notified of a phone scam that is targeting members of the Australian public. These scam calls appear to come from one of our hotline numbers – 02 6289 1555.
We do not make outgoing calls from this number, and we are not responsible for these calls. These are scam phone calls and should be treated as such.
If you receive a call from 02 6289 1555, please do not provide your personal details over the phone.
Report these calls to Scamwatch, especially if the caller is seeking money.
Previously reported calls have:

accused people of leaking information or giving out information about COVID-19

alerted people that their identity had been stolen

accused people of harassing other people

accused people of breaching COVID-19 rules

asked for donations for Coronavirus.
